Safety Measures We take during Tiger Tours

If you wish to experience a great adventure, Safaris are your number 1 choice to take part in. But it is also crucial to know that this tour crosses a natural wildlife reserve. And such places are untouched not part of the urban development.

Wild animals like tigers must not be disturbed as they are in their natural habitat. You have to be aware and responsible to avoid any dangers before taking up a safari. So, here is a list of few things to consider as safety measures that one needs to undertake for going to a safari in India:

  • Maintain Silence

It is a very famous saying that a friendly tiger is one that is an undisturbed tiger. If you get a chance to spot this majestic wildcat en route to the safari, it is in your best benefit to stay calm and keep quiet. Maintain silence and capture the beauty through your camera lens!

  • Keep a Safe Distance

A jungle route is both fascinating and risky, so you must never deviate from the routes recommended to you! Our safari experts are highly experienced and know-how to ensure your safety in the jungle.

  • Listen Carefully and Stay Alert

Tiger is one of the greatest predators. The tigers are excellent in hiding, camouflage, and known to attack silently. So keep your ears and eyes wide open when you are in the safari; if you are lucky then you might be able to spot this majestic being in its hunt mode.

  • Never Step OUT of the Safety Vehicle

You are not allowed to leave your safety vehicle during your safari ride. In fact, it’s against the laws to do so. The tour experts know exact time-out points built around the safari, where you can take a break before moving further.

  • Wear Clothes that Blend in with the Environment

Try to wear clothes that are in light shades – if possible something in greens and browns; the garments that go with the environment. Mammals are not used to see intense and vibrant colors, so they might get scared since they are not used to seeing them often.

  • Avoid Applying Perfumes or Body Deodorants

Animals are highly sensitive to smell, so applying perfumes, body deodorants, or any strong smell substance is most likely to arouse their curiosity. Animals always try to hide from humans, so might decrease your chances of witnessing the wildlife.

  • Strict Restrictions in the Park

Smoking, Walking, Picnic, Swimming or Angling, Bonfire, Cooking, Littering, Overtaking Vehicles on the Safari Trails, and Honking inside the Tiger Reserve are strictly prohibited.

  • Outside Influences must Stay OUT

Bringing Transistors, Recorders, Music Tape, Radio, Blowing the car horn and loud conversations are not allowed in a Tiger reserve. Moreover, you can experience the beauty of nature only when you are silent.

  • Adhere to the Park Timings

You are requested not to extend your stay in the park beyond the scheduled timings. Entering into the park without proper tickets, encouraging your driver to stay parked at one spot is forbidden. Never enter before sunrise or after sunset.
